Scuba Diving

Scuba dive at Pulau Payar and experience up-close the vibrant corals and marine life that inhabit the sea floor between 4 small islands. Pulau Payar Marine Park is about 45 minutes from Kuah Jetty and you can reach here by catamarans or speedboats organized by tour guides and travel agencies.

Diving excursions organized by diving tours typically last around 2 hours and will take you to 15 different diving spots namely Shark Point, Sponge Reef, Lembu Rocks and many others. Each diving spot is home to its own unique community of marine life. Get close to marine animals like seahorses, mantel rays, barracudas, and angelfish.

Diving tours are normally around RM390 and are available for both licensed divers and beginner level guided tours for divers without a diving license.

It is located on a large bay at Kuah and offers yachts of all sizes and levels of luxury for rent.¬†Rebak Marina at Pantai Kok sits at a 32-acre Mediterranean-themed harbor town. Enjoy coffee or dine at the boardwalk’s swanky cafes and restaurants while watching yachts make their way in and out of the marina.


Langkawi is also home to several golf courses for golfers to take swings while enjoying the winds and the crashing of the waves in the background. Situated at the base of Raya Mountain is Gunung Raya Golf Resort. Designed by American, Max Wexler, the 18-hole course showcases beautiful rolling greens and cleverly placed sand traps and water hazards.

The Els Golf Club at Datai Bay, designed by professional golfer, Ernie Els, was just recently given the title of “World’s Best New Golf Course” at the World Golf Awards in 2014. The golf course was designed with the original environment in mind, providing golfers to play in harmony with nature. Swing while soaking in the stunning view of the Andaman Sea.
